In its sustainable development approach, South Pacific Management has chosen EarthCheck certification, an environmental benchmarking and certification system for the tourism sector. This certification, created in Australia in 2009, allows companies to evaluate the impact of their activities on the environment, and to encourage them to improve their economic, social and sustainable performance. This certification is recognized at the global level since it counts more than 1200 tourism organizations in over 65 countries.
The group has decided to support Manava Beach Resort & Spa Moorea in its environmental initiatives. According to Jean-Marc Vermorel, Director of Operations, ” the certification will help our hotels find new solutions to be even more environmentally responsible “.
